On November 16, 2007, the day of the American Cancer Society’s “Great American Smoke Out” all Tulsa hospitals went tobacco-free. This effort will apply to all patients, employees and visitors.
The 12 members of the Tulsa Hospital Council made a public announcement in May 2007 detailing plans to end the use of tobacco products from all hospital campus buildings and on the grounds of any of the facilities.
