Meet Our Physicians
DeWayne Geren, D.O., joined SouthCrest Medical Group in order to expand his practice and better accommodate patient needs after practicing in the Owasso community for several years. He is in practice with Signature Family Medicine.
Dr. Geren graduated from medical school at Oklahoma State University Osteopathic College of Medicine. Since that time, he has enjoyed 22 years of experience in the medical field and eight years of experience in the Tulsa area. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association and American College of Family Physicians.

Sheba Joseph, M.D., Family Medicine, will be joining SouthCrest Medical Group beginning September 7th, after completing her residency and internship at "In His Image" in Tulsa, June 2010. Dr. Joseph will practice alongside Dr. DeWayne Geren and Dr. Kala Omstead at Signature Family Medicine located in Suite #370 of SouthCreek Medical Plaza.
Dr. Joseph received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College Thiruvananthapuram, India. She has performed medical research and has extensively volunteered in India as a General Practitioner. Dr. Joseph is Board eligible in Family Medicine. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Kala J. Omstead, D.O., Family Medicine, joined SouthCrest Medical Group after practicing most recently with Warren Clinic Family Practice in Tulsa. Prior to her work with Warren Clinic, she practiced at Family Physicians at Harvard Parke, also in Tulsa.
Dr. Omstead joined DeWayne Geren, D.O., and Kaveh Kermanshahi, M.D. to form Signature Family Physicians, a practice affiliated with SouthCrest Medical Group.
Dr. Omstead received a B.S. degree in biology from the University of Tulsa where she graduated Cum Laude. Following this, she received a Doctor of Osteopathy from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa.
Dr. Omstead is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, Tulsa Osteopathic Association, Tulsa Osteopathic Medical Society, American Medical Association and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
