Our Practice Philosophy
As Family Medicine physicians, we are well-trained and board certified to handle virtually everything from your annual exam, to an ear ache, to a broken toe and even minor office surgeries. Our expertise allows us to care for everyone in the family from the kids to grandparents. We feel that when you pick your physician, it should be our goal that you are seen by that physician. Plus, we offer same day acute appointments, just to make it more convenient for you.

Meet Our Physicians
H. Dwight Hardy, III, D.O., Family Medicine, joined SouthCrest Medical Group after practicing with OMNI Medical Group in Tulsa. Prior to this, Dr. Hardy was instrumental in founding the Utica Park Clinic at 91st and Memorial in 1997.
Dr. Hardy is in practice with Mingo Valley Medical Group, a practice affiliated with SouthCrest Medical Group. His partners include Afsar Emery, D.O., M.P.H., Jeffrey Howard, M.D., George M. Pendell III, M.D., Gerald Seefeldt, M.D. and Patrick VanSchoyck, M.D.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. degree in psychology, Dr. Hardy received his Doctor of Osteopathy at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, Civil Aviation Association, Tulsa District Osteopathic Society, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association and Rotary International. An avid pilot himself, Dr. Hardy is certified to perform Aviation Air Medical Exams.

Jeffrey W. Howard, M.D., Family Medicine, practiced with OMNI Medical Group in Tulsa prior to joining SouthCrest Medical Group. A member of Mingo Valley Medical Group, Dr. Howard is in practice with Afsar Emery, D.O., M.P.H.; H. Dwight Hardy III, D.O.; George M. Graduating from Abilene Christian University with a B.A. in biochemistry, Howard attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he received his medical degree. Dr. Howard is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and Oklahoma Academy of Family Practice.

George M. Pendell, III, M.D., Family Medicine, moved his practice to SouthCrest Medical Group after practicing with OMNI Medical Group in Tulsa. Prior to working for OMNI, Dr. Pendell was in private practice locally.

Graduating from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. degree in bio-medical science, Dr. Pendell graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City with his Doctor of Medicine. Gerald M. Seefeldt, M.D., Family Medicine, practiced with OMNI Medical Group in Tulsa prior to joining SouthCrest Medical Group. He joined Mingo Valley Medical Group to practice along with Afsar Emery, D.O., M.P.H.; H. Dwight Hardy III, D.O.; Jeffrey Howard, M.D.; George M. Pendell III, M.D. and Patrick VanSchoyck, M.D.
Dr. Seefeldt’s career medical experience includes extensive military experience in Okinawa, Japan, as flight surgeon for three marine helicopter squadrons in the field with M. A.S.H.-type units and aboard ships. He also served the U.S. Naval air station in Brunswick, Maine as squadron flight surgeon, Outpatient Clinic and Emergency Room. He also worked as a family physician with Springer Clinic for 14 years prior to joining OMNI Medical Group.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Seefeldt received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Patrick VanSchoyck, M.D., Family Medicine, was with OMNI Medical Group in Tulsa prior to joining SouthCrest Medical Group. Dr. VanSchoyck is in practice with Mingo Valley Medical Group, a practice affiliated with SouthCrest Medical Group. Partners include Afsar Emery, D.O., M.P.H.; H. He received a bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. Dr. VanSchoyck received a Doctor of Medicine at the Oklahoma University College of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the American Academy of Physicians, Tulsa County Medical Society and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
Dr. VanSchoyck is a member of the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps where he is licensed to aid in FEMA disasters. His experience includes Hurricane Shelter OKC, opening the Camp Gruber Shelter and opening a Red Cross shelter in Lanai, Hawaii, following a dam rupture.
