David Combs, M.D., a family medicine physician with SouthCrest Medical Group has opened a full-time family medicine practice in Catoosa. SouthCrest Medical Group agreed to operate the Catoosa Family Clinic when Dr. Deborah Sheehan retired in April. Dr. Combs began seeing patients full-time at the clinic beginning Monday, July 13.
Dr. Combs moves to Catoosa after practicing with The Primary Care Group of Oklahoma, a practice affiliated with SouthCrest Medical Group. He has also practiced with Utica Park Clinic Family Practice in Broken Arrow and he was employed by Broken Arrow Medical Center in the Emergency Department. Dr. Combs received a B.S. and D.V.M. degrees at Oklahoma State University and a medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and he has been practicing in the Tulsa area for 16 years.
“I look forward to moving my practice full time to Catoosa,” said Dr. Combs. “It is my hope that Catoosa Family Clinic will make care more accessible for residents. Rather than having to drive to Tulsa every time they need to see a doctor, they can visit our offices just down the street.”
Catoosa Family Clinic will also provide obstetrics and women’s health services. Dan Nicoll, D.O., Family Medicine and Obstetrics, will be available Thursday mornings at the clinic for appointments. All pregnancy appointments will be offered in Catoosa with the delivery of the baby at SouthCrest Hospital.
