The SouthCrest Hospital Clinical Laboratory’s mission is to provide quality cost-effective impatient and outpatient Services to the communities we serve.

Ages of Population Served
The Clinical Laboratory serves all ages from newborns to geriatric patients.
Hours of Operation
The main laboratory is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Three draw sites are available for your convenience.

Performance Improvement
The laboratory participates in proficiency testing from the College of American Pathologists and the American Proficiency Institute. Performance is also monitored by periodic patient and physician satisfaction surveys.
Staffing
Staffing includes a Pathologist who serves as Medical Director, and a Medical Technologist serves as Laboratory Director.
The staffing mix includes Lead Techs, technical staff including Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Histotechnologists, Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Staff.
